Co-Curricular

INFANT SCHOOL CO-CURRICULAR

Our offerings broaden horizons, encourage interests and hone essential skills.

Co-curricular is an essential programme of life at Clifton High School, providing a profoundly enriching experience for all children.

We wholeheartedly encourage participation in our extensive array of co-curricular clubs are thoughtfully categorised into the following three spheres:

  • Performing and Creative Arts
  • Intellectual Development
  • Sports Provision

Clubs are led by staff members who wish to share their professional passions with the children and embrace a holistic approach to individual growth, nurturing well-rounded individuals who thrive on inspirational experiences.

Our youngest children in the Infant School have a bespoke Co-Curricular Programme tailored to their needs and interests, providing them with the opportunity to explore this important aspect of School life.

SPORT

Many sporting clubs complement and expand upon our curriculum. We also offer sports clubs that reflect current trends and the interests of our children, encouraging them to try a sport they may never have thought of or had the opportunity to participate in. These clubs include, but are not limited to, Tennis, Swimming, Taekwondo, Dance, Rounders and Basketball.

We are partnered with Henleaze Performance Swimming Club to allow our children to learn from experienced swim professionals beyond their PE lessons.

PERFORMING ARTS

A passion for the arts at Clifton High School is embraced. Several musical and performance clubs see our pupils and community members unite to collaborate and showcase their talents throughout a variety of events.

Visiting Music Teachers (VMT) provide our pupils with individual lessons that build upon technical skills and encourage confidence in performance, often leading to participation in our School and other external events.
